Online services exist already, where you can exchange bitcoins for Webmoney or transfer them to a common bank account in your own currency (e.g. 24change.com or alfacashier.com). Governments are still wary of these types of financial transactions, as unconventional money flows are harder to control. The process, however, is in full swing now: according to 2014 data, global bitcoin turnover was evaluated at roughly $11 billion, with the first virtual currency ATMs having appeared already.
